The Deep is about a marine biologist named Joel Price, who was sent to an Earth-like planet called R-Aqua because, after years of distant study, research showed that marine life was abundant and long-lasting. You play as Joel and enter an alien planet’s oceans in search of the one question that has scientists scratching their heads. Why are these creatures lasting for so long? And what answers will you find 11 thousand meters in the deep?

You will need to descend into the deep to unlock the story elements. You will also need the right equipment to keep moving down. Just be careful of what lurks down below. With the help of your Orca (Your Little Submarine), you will be able to explore the hidden underwater world this planet hides and reach the bottom of this alien world.

Getting Tired Yet?

Why not make an underwater base and relax for a while? Construct an underwater home that will help you on your travels. You can upgrade your base as well to be able to stand the pressures of the deep. Your base will be useful for a lot of things that you wouldn’t be able to do without it. These include but are not limited to.

Shelter: Nothing can get you when you are home.
Planting: You can have a space to plant some plants that will help with food amongst other things.
Crafting: Yes, you can craft without having a base, but the base offers additional crafting recipes that the (Orca) doesn’t offer.
